Barone was in the fourth season of Seinfeld episode The Shoes as Gail Cunningham Chef who wanted Elaine Benes shoes. The early 1990s saw her was a regular on the cast of Carol & Company with actress Carol Burnett. Barone was the ex-wife of Carol Willick Ross Geller during the first Friends appearance.
